Obituary of Pauline Ann Sanford

Pauline Ann Sanford 73 of Amsterdam NY, Formally of Waltham MA, passed away peacefully Sunday April 19th 2009 at the Edward L. Wilkinson R.H.C.F. with her loving family at her side. Born April 9th, 1936 in Waltham, MA. The daughter of the late Joseph Leo Burgoyne and the late Jane E. Hedrington Burgoyne. Pauline moved to Amsterdam in 2005 to be with her Daughter Donna Cappadona of Amsterdam, NY. Her other Surviving children are her daughter Deborah Parker and her husband Steve of Center Sanwich, NH , Her sons Kenneth Sanford and wife Linda of Spring Hill, FL. and Michael Sanford and wife Karen of Hudson, MA. Pauline and her surviving sisters Geraldine Smith of Fort Meyers, FL. and Georgine B. Brouilette of Townsend, MA were the first born surviving triplets of The New England Area in 1936. Other surviving siblings are her sisters Mary T. Burgoyne of Waltham, MA., Jean Newcomb of Medfield, MA. and two brothers Joseph L. Burgoyne Jr. and wife Mary of Waltham, MA., James E. Burgoyne and wife Nan of Waltham, MA. Pauline is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a proud grandmother of Jamie and Donnie Myshrall, Russell and Danny Sanford, Nicole Cappadona Korona and Nicholas Cappadona, Alex, Allison, Lindsey, Sabrina, and Ryan Sanford. She also is survived by three great grandchildren Cody and Elliana Korona and Aaliyah Myshrall. Pauline graduated from Rosary Academy in Watertown, MA in 1954 and then went on to hairdressing school in Waltham, She worked as a cocktail waitress for many years and then for Raytheon Company of Waltham until she retired. During her retirement she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for Waltham Hospital. She was very active and loved to work. Pauline enjoyed taking her children to Wingersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA when they were youngsters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday May 1st, 2009 at 10:30a.m. at St. Judes Church, Main St Waltham, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association-NENY Chapter, 85 Watervliet Ave, Albany, NY, 12189.
