Obituary of Darlene K. Horning

Angels gently guided DARLENE KAY BIGSBEE HORNING, Age 61, daughter of the late John Bigsbee & Dorothy Strohmaier, to waiting loving arms of passed family & friends April 29, 2009. Darlene graduated from Mt. Pleasant High school 1965. She was last employed as a caring, compassionate Aide at Hillcrest Springs, Amsterdam, NY. Darlene, with her wonderful sense of humor, dearly loved her family & friends, was an avid reader, extremely creative, an excellent cook & loved all animals & life. Her loving family includes her Sister, Carol Pierone, Brother, Robert Gail Strohmaier, Nephew Raymond Debra Strohmaier, Niece Laurie Steve Zinnershine. Darlene's love expands to her very dear friend, Millie O'Brien & her children, Mary, Maureen, Megan, Tricia, Michael O'Brien & Renea Orlando Pacheco. Sadness in our hearts today will heal; but wonderful memories of Darlene will last forever. Darlene's life to be celebrated Wednesday May 6, 2009, 12:00 Noon at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY.
