I am so sorry that I did not know that Joan was ill. Whenever we talked, she was always upbeat and kind. As a member of Eclectic, she contributed to our talks with stories of her life, an e-mail message, a joke, a story, and/or a smile of love. I will miss her so much! My deepest sympathies to you, her family, whom she loved so much. God Bless!

I am a nurse at Nathan Lirrauer Hospital and many of us at the hospital will miss Joan's smiling face and warm personality. It was always a pleasure and privilege taking care of her while she was there. She never complained and always greeted us with a smile and made us laugh. May God Bless her and all her family. They were always very attenteive to her needs. She loved her family and was very proud of all of them.

Dear Eileen and family, Let me be the first to tell you how sorry I am that your wonderful mother has passed. I remember the first time that I met her...it was during high school, when she interviewed us on the radio for our "Environmental Conservation" club. What a bundle of energy she was! I also remember my Dad speaking so highly of her...he knew her through Collins & Reese Hardware store, as she helped him do his radio ads. As time went on, we crossed paths again through our friendship. I will always remember her for her kind, out-going nature, and her great sense of humor. I hope that the memories you all have will help you to smile again, too. God bless you as you cope. xoxo
