Although our wonderful memories go back to our farm in Glen, I especially remember and cherish the regular visits from Uncle John, Aunt Anna, Tommy and Johnny. Now they are gone but I am thankful to God for the wonderful times we did have together back then. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief. God bless you.

To Tom's Family,
I have known Tom for around 12 years. I first met him when he came in to volunteer for the Saratoga County Arts Council at the Arts Center. Tom was a special volunteer. always generous with his time. He would assist with the Visual Artist Receptions every single month, helping me set up and clean up after the monthly event and other events as well. He was always the first one at our holiday party every year bringing a treat with him! When his brother John died, it was a bad time for Tom and we talked a lot about John's struggle with his health. When Tom got sick he was very private about his illness. But he did confide in me and I was glad we could talk about it. I retired from the Arts Council over two years ago so I hadn't been in touch with Tom for a while and I am so sorry that I didn't catch up with him before his death. Tom was a funny, gentle man who always had a good story to tell, He was also a man with strong convictions and I valued his friendship. Tom was one of those people you do not forget. My love and prayers to you Ken, Cindy, Joe and Annie. You were all very important to Tom and he talked about you often. I am sorry there is not a service so I can pay my respects in person, but I will remember Tom with a donation to the Arts Council. My prayers and best wishes to you. Fondly, Dee Sarno

Dear Ken and Cindy,
I was the Social Worker who worked at the Rubin Center up until about 3 weeks ago. I read of your father's passing in the newspaper today and am in complete shock. If anyone, I thought, could beat this disease, it was your Pop. But I also know, because he shared this with me, that he did not want to suffer, and that he was resigned to leaving this earth if his quality of life diminished. Tom once told me he had a "great life", and that he had few regrets.
Ken, he was so proud of you and spoke about you and Cindy to me often. He really appreciated how you looked out for him these last couple of years.
I still cannot believe he is gone, and am feeling deep regret that I did not go and see him these last couple of weeks. I always thought there would be time, ya know? I guess the lesson is we need to always remember how precious and fleeting life is. Never take it for granted, nor the time you have with those you love.
Your father was an AMAZING man, and I was deeply fond of him. I am so sorry for your loss, and if there is anything I can do, please contact me. My cell is 518-225-2888.
Perhaps you could e-mail me a photo of him at your convenience? That would mean a lot to me.
Again, my deepest condolences to both you and Cindy. I will always think of your father with a warm place in my heart!
Take care,
Tammy
