Obituary of Frances D. Buddle

Frances D. Buddle, 88, of Gloversville, died Thursday May 7, 2009 at the Fulton County Residential Healthcare Facility. She was born in Gloversville on April 20, 1921 the daughter of George and Esther Purdell Wart. On April 21, 1951, Frances married Arthur Buddle. They shared nearly 40 years of marriage until his death on May 30, 1990. She was a hard working woman who loved to have fun. In her younger days, Frances liked to go bowling. She also enjoyed helping anybody out when she could. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Stanlee Buddle of Gloversville; a daughter, Diane E. Delliveneri of Amsterdam; a brother, Franklin Wart of Gloversville; two sisters: Virginia Nicosia of Northville and Emogene Radie of Newark, NY; four grandchildren: Jaime and Heather Delliveneri and Kristen and Nicollette Buddle and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Marlitt and a brother Charles Wart. Visitation will be Saturday May 9 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 am with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family.
