Obituary of Frances B. Goodsill

Frances B. Goodsill 64, Old Trail Road, passed away Friday evening at St. Mary?s Hospital after being stricken at home. Born May 10, 1944 in Herkimer, New York, she was the daughter of the late Earl Arthur and Jennie Armstrong Folts. Frances was employed at Kasson & Keller in Fonda for thirteen years until retiring twenty years ago due to ill health. For many years she wrote letters to our military troops overseas. Frances loved spending time with her grandchildren, selling AVON products and going to Turning Stone a few times to play bingo. She was married on July 22, 1962 to Raymond Goodsill. Besides her beloved husband, Frances is survived by her loving family, four sons, Francis Pete Goodsill of Charleston 4 Corners, Edward Goodsill of Gloversville, Earl Goodsill of Fultonville and Raymond Goodsill of Mayfield; ten grandchildren, one great grandson and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 10:00 AM at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville with the Rev. Marty Braemer officiating. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery, Sand Flats, Fonda. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
