All I can say is that from the first time I met Joyce at the telephone co. I knew she was a great friend of Jesus. It was great working with her and I won't forget her smile and friendly ways that she had. She was a wonderful person. Joyce will be missed. She thought very highly and loved her family very much. I know she is in a better place now and not suffering. My thoughts and prayers go to the ones she left behind.

My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. Loss is very hard; let yourself shed tears with the thought that they are notes of love going up to heaven to greet your mother.
Take comfort knowing an Angel is there with her looking over you.

I WORKED WITH JOYCE AT NYNEX IN CUSTOMER SERVICES. WE WERE THE FIRST TO OPEN ALBANY FOR THIS SERVICE. I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW I LOVED HER RIGHT FROM THE START. SHE WAS AN ANGEL AND I SAT RIGHT ACROSS FROM HER. RECENTLY, WE HAD LUNCH AND SHE LOOKED WONDERFUL AND GAVE US ALL HOPE AND JOY WITH HER CONVERSATION. SHE SURELY WAS SENT FROM HEAVEN. SHE TOUCHED MY LIFE AND I AM THANKFUL EVERYDAY FOR THAT.

My maiden name was Lorraine Cwalinski. In high school & Albany Business Joyce & I were very good friends. Jon Paul may remember me. I was in the wedding party when he & Joyce got married so many years ago. After leaving Amsterdam, getting married, having children & moving around the country & Europe, we all lost touch. I am friends with Janet Thompson Steenburgh who sent me Joyce's obituary. I would like to extend my condolences to the entire family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Joyce was a great friend to me throughout our high school & beyond years. We shared many things & times together.

TO THOSE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE A RELATIVE OR DEAR FRIEND OF JOYCE'S...
JOYCE was one of the most sincere and kind persons I was fortunate enough to meet during lifes journey. I can understand why God called her early, since she was so dedicated to his purpose. Many times I would see her praying and meditating no doubt contemplating things larger than mere material matters on earth.
She never stopped talking about her family, never gave up even when she was in extreme physical or emotional pain, and for that I admired her. Always a kind word to say for the downtroden and a positive attitude no matter the occurences.
I know you will all miss her. I am so sorry for your pain & sorrow. Even though I had not seen her for a while, I considered her a dear friend.
May God comfort you in your time of saddness, but celebrate Joyce's release from worldly pain. For she is in a better place of rest and peace. God Bless you all.
