Obituary of Elliot T. Case
Elliot Case, 38, passed away Tuesday, June 30 at Albany Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1970 the son of Elywn and Sandra Duesler Case, Sr.
He was employed at various warehouses, including Lee Dye Corporation in Gloversville.
Elliot was an avid fisherman. His passion for the sport was undeniable. He fished practically everyday. His favorite spot was Sunset Bay in Mayfield, where he would often go with his friends, Mike and Victor. He was a B.A.S.S. Masters member as well. He also had a love of NASCAR racing. Elliot will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his father, Elywn Case, Sr. of Hoosick Falls; his mother, Sandra Case of Gloversville; three brothers: Elywn Case, Jr. of Johnstown, Earl Juliet Case of Fonda and Eric Case, Sr. of Gloversville; two sisters: Jennifer Morgan of Johnstown and Billie Jo Pinckney of Fonda; maternal grandparents Earl and Pat Duesler of Johnstown; nieces and nephews Amber Case, Elywn Case III, Eric Case, Jr., Jessica Case, Andrew Morgan and Devon Pinckney; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved cat, Squeak. Elliot was predeceased by a maternal grandmother, Marjorie Duesler, paternal grandparents Doug and Ruth Case and a niece, Trisha Annmarie Case.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. There will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium in Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elliot's memory to the Leukemia Society of America, Inc., 5 Computer Drive West, Suite 100, Albany, NY 12205 or to the charity of one's choosing.
