Obituary of Mary P. Kupciunas

Mary P. Kupciunas 91, of Kupciunas Drive passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday. Born June 22, 1918 in Bayonne, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Powlaski Kalinauskas. Mary moved to Amsterdam, New York in 1954 from Freehold, N.J. and was employed for Mohasco Industries in Amsterdam for 20 years. Later she worked for the Montgomery County Infirmary until retiring in 1980. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith and loved to read and travel. Mary was married on September 4, 1954 to Edward B. Kupciunas who passed away March 21, 2005. Survivors include her son Ralph and Cheryl Fisher of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren Monte E. Fisher, Duane W. Fisher Mandy, Dean S. Fisher Nancy and Shannon K. Fisher; great grandchildren Danielle Rose, Matthew, Morgan, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Savanna and Christian; former daughter-in-law Roseann and husband Frank; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private funeral services and calling hours will be at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
