Obituary of JoAnne Frasier Lehr

JoAnne Frasier Lehr, 55, of Canajoharie, NY died suddenly on Friday, March 17, 2017 following a long battle with Diabetes. Born in Gloversville, NY on March 26, 1961 she was the daughter of Ruth Aesch Frasier and the late Lawrence Frasier. JoAnne was a graduate of Perth High School and Europa School of Cosmetology. She worked for NYS Tryon Residential Center for many years until its closure. She loved being a Mom, Aunt, Foster Parent, sister, daughter and a friend. She enjoyed hair dressing, knitting, crocheting, playing cards, trips to the Casino and camping. JoAnne was known for her extremely witty sense of humor, always making you laugh and smile no matter what the situation may be and this will be greatly missed. Survivors include her mother, Ruth Frasier; her twin sons, Ryan and Jordan Lehr; her companion, Brian Yerdon; two brothers, Jeff (Sue) Frasier and Joel (Kelly) Frasier; a spouse, Tom Lehr; stepson Brandon Lehr; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 12noon to 2pm with the funeral service held at 2pm at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. In honor of JoAnne's love for children, contributions may be made to Maddie's Mark Foundation, P.O.
