I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our brother Ed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. I have known Ed since the 5th grade and he was always very kindhearted and thoughtful of others. He was my best man when I was married and is the godfather of my daughter Cara. We had many great times together as youngsters, throughout high school and into our early adult lives. Ed was a great person to be around and always made everyone laugh. Although involvement with our adult lives took up most of our time and we rarely saw each other, I did have the opportunity to run into Ed on a couple of occasions within the past year. He always spoke very proudly of his daughter and their relationship. He was a very proud father. I will miss Ed greatly but will always remember the great memories he has left with us to cherish forever. To my brother Ed?. I will see you when it?s my time. I?ll be the one carrying a six-pack of Genny Cream Ale. Just like the old days. I love you my brother!!! I'll never forget the solidarity potatoes!! Rocton Pub Superbowl Party!!!!!

I wish you peace at this very sad time. My memories of Ed are from our Amsterdam High School days....he was the life of the party, funny and well liked. Everyone wanted to be his friend. He was quick witted with a sharp tounge..that is how it was when we grew up, anything for a laugh..and he was the best at it..remember the good times with Ed...I know I will.
