Obituary of Dale R. Decker

Mr. Dale R. Decker, 53, of Fultonville, died suddenly on August 11, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on April 19, 1956 he was the son of the late Robert C. Decker and Angela Narbone. A lifelong area resident, Dale attended schools in Fonda and was self employed in construction. He enjoyed country music, good times and NASCAR. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Angela Palloni of Fultonville; a sister, Nonagail Ken Pfeiffer of Amsterdam; brothers, Robert Linda Decker of Fonda, Richard and Ronald Palloni of St. Louis, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Louis Jeanne Narbone of Forest Port, NY, Louise Boyer and Norm Fountaine of Fultonville; nieces and nephews, Robert Decker Jr., Joseph and Jason Ricci, Rachel Rod Hicks, Garett and Zachary Drobish, Kory Pfeiffer, Jessica and Leslie Palonni. Several great nieces, great nephews and many friends also survive. He was predeceased by his father Robert Decker and his step father Silvio "Sal" Palloni. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock.
