Obituary of Patricia E. Walsh

Patricia E. Walsh, 77, of Amsterdam, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on March 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Swider Kosiba. She attended Amsterdam Schools. Patricia was a member of St. Mary's Church, and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph Walsh; sister, Theresa Kosiba and her fiancé, Harry Teets. Patricia is survived by her son, Ralph Walsh and his significant other, Debra Ebert of Schenectady; daughters, Lisa Gallo of Rotterdam and Deborah Delgado of Amsterdam; sister, Josephine Carpenter of Amsterdam; grandchildren, Tashia, Nicole, Heather, Trisha, Tiffany, Timmy, Angela, Carly, Adam and 17 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 4pm until 7pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Funeral services for Patricia will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11am with Fr. Jeffrey L'Arche presiding at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam.
