Obituary of Ronald S. Dostie

Ronald S. Dostie, 73, passed away Saturday morning at the Fulton County R.H.C.F. after being a resident there for 10 years. Born February 29, 1936 in Amsterdam, New York he was the son of the late William P. and Mabel Mullet Dostie. He lived most of his life in Amsterdam and was a Wilbur H. Lynch High School graduate. Ron was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a laborer. Survivors include a brother, Durward Dostie, of Amsterdam; two sisters, Marilyn Adams of Amsterdam and Fern Marie Steiger of Connecticut and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 17, 2009, from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam.
