Dear Cathy & Family, We send you our condolences. Howard will be forever in our hearts, and deeply missed. He was such a special person that we will never forget. I had allot of good times with Howard at Somer Set. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to play. He was so full of life. He was a true friend we will never forget. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bill and Cindy Pollard

Cathy and family, I just wanted to let all of you know how deeply saddened I am about Howard, what a wouderful and kind soul he was. He always had a smile that lit the whole room when I would stop over for a visit. Being his home care nurse was a privledge and an honor,I hope he is at peace free to feed the deer and joke around.
God Bless all of you! Donna Carloe

Howard was always special to me from the first time he rocked me on a swing, and told me how much he loved me. Over the years his words stuck in me, because I knew in my heart he meant every word he said, and I was special to him. I knew that he loved with an unconditional love that was a reflection of God himself and I could be myself around him flaws and all, and Howard would still truly love me like a dad. That was 40 years ago that Howard told me those words and now as I told my 19 year old daughter that Howard had died her words to me were "Mom he was like a grandpa to me. He told me right away he loved me and I knew he meant it" Howard had a love for people that radiated through his eyes and was felt by his hugs. He with be forever etched in my heart and his presence will be forever missed. We will love you forever "dad" and "grandpa" xoxo Colleen, Wayne, Justin and Alyssa Horender
