Dear Em and Family,
I am sorry for your loss and I hope you find peace knowing that she is with our lord. I"ll never forget that day recently when we visited Gram together and the clarity she had, the funny little saying during out visit. Please share a favorite memory of my grandmother, Ethel Girard, and your condolences for the family.
My favorite memory is a recent one. When I was styling my grandmother's hair two months ago, I thought she was sleeping and I said to myself but aloud "Wow, you still have great thick hair." She never opened her eyes, but she said, "Well, that's all a woman really needs. You can get away without other things, but you have to have good hair." I laughed right out loud, and said, "You know what, Gram, you are right!!"
