Sorry to see in the paper of Jeannette's passing. I would like to have her family know that I had Jeannette as my Brownie/Girl Scout Leader in the Tribes Hill School many,many years ago. She had convinced my mother to make me go to Girl Scout Camp for the first time one year and I hated it.
I can still see Jeannette coming out from the gas station to pump gas into my car. Felt the change of ownership in their business.
Our family attended the same church, where she was so involved in it. She assisted me in making my donation to the church in memory of my mother. She was a good friend to my mother. They both had lost their husbands within a year apart.
Jeannette and I kept in touch with exchanging cards for the holidays and visits together where she would talk about her health and always talking about her family.
I will always carry a memory of Jeannette McMorris.
