Sandy and I were friends for over 25 years and no matter how long it was between visits, our relationship never changed. It was always this warm place that we both loved to be in. She was a rare and incredible woman of tremendous courage and faith, and she will forever be my hero. I will be eternally grateful for that last Monday of her life that she and I spent together.
"Through the pain of loss, may you all Sandy's family and friends feel blessed having known such love."

Dear Sharon and family. Sandy came into my life for a reason and we formed a quick and strong bond of friendship. I felt her heart and she mine. Life is good that way sometimes, putting special people into your life and into your heart that will touch you forever. I was far from done being her friend and I miss her dearly. She told me she would watch over me and I very much believe she is. I am now blessed to have a most wonderful group of women in my life you know who you are that I would never have known if not for Sandy. She filled my heart just to be with her, and that was the last thing I said to her. We shall meet again dear friend.

To Sandy's family and friends: We were college roommates and have been best friends ever since. Sharon and Jason - remember spending time at our summmer home at Lake Luzerne, vacations to Hampton Beach, visiting each others homes, Jason skating, Sharon's wedding!! Those memories will never fade....Our lives have inter-twined over the years. Sandy and I have shared laughs, cries, secrets and everything that makes a warm lasting friendship. I will truly miss her but I know she will be waiting for me! I still have the urge to pick up the phone, but I send her my thoughts instead - and I know she can hear me. Her spirit makes me see the positive in life and I hope this short message finds you at peace.

To all those who loved Sandy
Each of us is placed on earth for a special reason and for a purpopse. We all know Sandy touched our hearts in so many ways as you too touched hers.
Sandy fought the fight and won the race ... up to Heaven where I know her family was waiting for her with open arms.
Sandy truly left us all the gift of her love, of her beautiful smile which uplifted everyone, she was a woman of courage and strength that very few have. And she quietly and humbly had a deep faith in her Lord.
Be happy! We love you!

I have known Sandy since I was a little girl and best friends w Sharon. Just last Winter we chatted about how *crazy* Sharon & I may have acted when young?? : Sandy took a terrible thing like cancer and helped do a wonderful thing for all women by educating them on the disease. We all should try to model our own behaviors after hers. I know how much you will miss her Sharon, hold onto precious memories, they are yours forever!
Love, Kim & Family

I am truly sorry for your loss. I did not know Sandy that well, we rode together on two occasions and I spent some time with her at a gathering of her friends.
I just wanted to let you know that she was a beacon of hope for me and others. When we met I was taken by her smile and never say die attitude. She was an inspiration to me and I am saddened by her passing.
If there is a heaven and I am blessed enough to go there I am confident that Sandy will be there smiling and saying hello to the other lost souls that she has helped throughout the years.
Take care and my prayers are with you and her.

Dear MaryJane and family. We would like to express our deepest heartfelt sympathy at the lost of your Sandy. I didn't know her well, but we had a connection because of our battles with cancer. I do know that she was a very strong woman and she inspired me. Whenever I did see her, usually at our store, she had a big smile and a hug for me. I will remember that. She fought a brave battle, and is now at peace.
