Obituary of Marie Wilder

Marie Wilder, age 88, of Gloversville passed away on Thursday December 3, 2009 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. She was born on December 14, 1920 the daughter of the late Henry "Hank" Snyder and Leona Glenn Snyder. Marie was educated in the Gloversville Enlarged School District, where she graduated in 1941. Marie loved reading and old movies. She worked for the Gloversville Senior Center until the age of 81. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking for her family. Marie is survived by her six children: David Snyder of Gansevoort, NY, Donald Wilder of Canajoharie, Michael Wilder of Gloversville, Christopher Wilder of Mayfield, Donna Wilder of Gloversville and Sandra Wilder of Courtland, NY; 15 grandchildren: Christina, Shannon, Mandy, Corey, Matthew Hough, Matthew Wilder, Kasey, Asa, Zachary, Heather, Katie, Michael, Hanna, Ethan and Aaron. Additional survivors include: three great grandchildren: Bailey, Byron, Alex and a brother Dave Snyder. Friends and relatives are invited and may call on Monday December 7, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Noon at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home; 51 Fremont Street; Gloversville.
