I just learned of Doug's passing and want to send my deepest sympathies to the family.I always enjoyed his visits to the bank & was always delighted when he took the time to stop in and say hello when I was in Whitesboro NBT. He was a kind and thoughtful man missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

I was sorry to learn of the passing of cousin Doug. I remember well my last visit with him and all the stories he was able to share with me. I also remember well his visit to me in Arizona many years ago and the pleasant time we all had together. He resides with his sweetheart Betty now and is at rest from all his travels throughout this wonderful life.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to everyone in the family. Doug rode the Montgomery County Veterans Van to Albany and our office developed a very nice relationship with him. He always talked about his daughters and how proud he was of them and all the grandchildren. His sense of humor is what really made it a pleasure to talk to him. He will be missed -Again my deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Christine Pasquarelli, Montgomery County Veterans Service Agency

To the Chapman Family,
Doug was a wonderful man. He will be long remembered as a good and honest man. I remember him stopping and talking with my parents when I was growing up, and he never changed. I wish and hope you find healing in the words of others and all the good times help you in your time of mourning.
RIP to the Mayor of Freysbush,

Dear Sandy,Susan and family, we were so sorry to learn of your Dad's & Granddad's passing. He was quite a gentleman I always called him a "character" because he kept us laughing. I am sure you have tons of great memories, as he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
