Obituary of Clifford H. Azer

Clifford H. Azer, 87, passed away December 8, 2009 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. Born on August 3, 1922 in the Town of Canajoharie, he was the son of the late Charles and Emma Miller Azer. Mr. Azer attended Cherry Valley schools and served proudly with the United States Army from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. He was employed with the Town of Canajoharie as a equipment operator for many years until his retirement. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 13th, 2010 at 11 o'clock at the Fort Plain Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman presiding. The Fort Plain VFW Memorial Squad will provide military honors to their fallen comrade. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
