Obituary of Andres Papa Buelo Aleman

Andres "Papa Buelo" Aleman, age 69, of Division St. Amsterdam, NY, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning December 8th, 2009 at his home. Born in Anasco, Puerto Rico on September 22, 1940. He was a son of Mingo Lugo and Juanita Aleman. He attended school and was raised in Puerto Rico. While in Puerto Rico Mr. Aleman worked as a Laborer harvesting Coffee Beans and Sugar Cane. He came to Amsterdam in the late 1980's and has lived here since. Mr. Aleman was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was an avid Baseball Fan and Boston Red Sox Fan. Mr. Aleman also enjoyed playing Dominos with his family and friends and listening to Old Trio Music from Puerto Rico. He married Otilia Gonzalez in 1961. In addition to his loving wife survivors include two daughters, Gloria Lugo of Amsterdam and Ivette Aleman of MA. One son, Carlos Aleman of Amsterdam, NY. Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Today December 10th, 2009 at 3:00PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Interment will be in the family cemetery in Puerto Rico.
