Obituary of Louis E. Iannotti

Mr. Louis E. Iannotti, 86, of Chopin Parkway, Amsterdam, passed away Wednesday evening December 9, 2009 at the E.L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam, NY on February 23, 1923 a son of John and Leticia Parillo Iannotti. He was raised in Amsterdam and attended local schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Iannotti was first employed as a Milk Man by Olbrych's Dairy in Amsterdam. He later worked for SOFCO in Scotia for over 20 years before retiring. Louis first married Nancy Rupsis Iannotti in 1942. She passed away August 28, 1988. He later married Joanne M. Raulen Iannotti on June 9, 1990. In addition to his wife Joanne survivors include one son, Jeffrey Iannotti and his wife Mindy of Ballston Spa, NY. Three grandchildren, Kyle, Colton and Breana Iannotti. Two step-grandchildren, Macy and Marlowe Hicks. Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.
