Obituary of Marian J. Rudzinski Pontoriero

Marian J. Rudzinski Pontoriero, 77, of Hammondtown Rd, Amsterdam, passed away Saturday morning December 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 3, 1932 a daughter of Marion and Alice Rudzinski. She was raised and attended schools in Philadelphia. Marian was a homemaker for most of her life. She married Anthony Pontoriero on May 27, 1961. He passed away in 1994. Marian is survived by two children, Michael Pontoriero and his wife Margaret of Bordentown, N.J. and Lisa Filiberto and her husband David of Amsterdam, NY. Six grandchildren, Michael, David and Nicholas Pontoriero, Maria, A.J. and Tessa Filiberto. Four sisters, Alice KasmierskiHenry, Leona Reich Bill, Elsie Schumann and Elaine TomczakBen. In-Laws, Charles Pontoriero, George and Patricia Pontoriero, Katherine Mineo and Katherine Pontoriero. She was predeceased by a brother Marion "Hank"Rudzinski Jr. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:30A.M. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, New Jersey 08505. A calling hour will precede the Mass beginning at 9:30A.M. at the Church. Inurnment of Cremated Remains will take place immediately following the Mass at the St. Mary's Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Trenton, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Institute, Church St., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
