To the Marotta family. Anna was a frend of my grandmother Lucy D'Agostino. I remember as a small child helping the Christian Mothers at thier food booth at Mt. Carmel festivals, then helping me out when I was chairmman. She was a tireless worker and always had a smile for everyone.

To All who loved Anna! she will be missed. Our paths crossed many times. My first experience with Anna was through Girl Scouts! She put her all in Girl Scouting, something she truly believed in. Giving girls a chance! I also worked with her at Head Start! What a trooper she was. Never missed a day! Always putting the kids first! Always taking care of them. She always spoke of her family and how much she loved them and cared for them. You where the joy in her live. You are blessed to have had her this long! Remember the good times, that is what she would want. Our deepest sympathies and the Lords blessings give you comfort in this difficult time. Ralph and Jayne Mulligan

Your Mom was one of the finest ladies I have ever known. I met her through Girl Scouts and then PTA and SPRING. My sister Marge Derrico and I have often shared Anna stories--Like the one my sister tells of your Mom having Show and Tell at Sunday School and my neice Sandra bringing her newly adopted brother Mark as her Show and Tell. I remember planning her SPRING honor and having to limit the number of people who called to ask permission to speak at the dinner. She was well respected and loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies are with you at this time. Anna was a very special lady who gave of herself for the children of Gloversville. I am sorry to learn of Mema's passing and gratified to learn about her long and distinguished life. I first met her at Betsy and Jim's wedding and was amazed that such a tiny, elderly lady could bake a masterpiece wedding cake. Please accept my condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
