I would not be here today if not fo Dr. Brickner. He was the one who found the problem as why my mom could not concieve. He operated and corected her problem. My brother was born followed by me. He was our family doctor. He saved me as a baby from severe confusions. He took out my tonsils. When I was just 8 years old he came to my house in the evening, diagnosed me with appendisitis and later that night at the old the NL hospital operated close to them bursting. He was my hero. Blessing to the family as you celebrate his memory. Mrs. Brickner was my 5th grade teacher and because her choir direction I have a love of music still today.

Dr. Brickner's Family:
Dr. Brickner was my MOM's Doctor and then mine, my parents' Dr. - especially when I was a baby, young child, young adult - He was the greatest and I loved him dearly - when I was a child, he would show me his canary - I actually remember that- My MOM met him at a young age - he was the greatest to her - Evelyn Young Bornt - I am so sad to hear of his passing, but glad he had a long life. He lives within me always.
God Bless all of you and my prayers are with you.

To the family of Merol Brickner,
As you know, my wife and I live next door to your dad. Visited him often since we moved here. We will miss him. When he was able a couple of years ago, we had him over for dinner and had some great conversations. I will also miss seeing the lights on. Played some chess with Merol. He will be missed and I should note he spoke highly of his 2 daughters and family. Our sincerest sympathy. You had your dad for longer than most families have a parent. God Bless.
