Cheryl, Dawn and family,
I just heard of "Scotty's" passing several days ago. That is the only name I have ever called him by! I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I still am having trouble believing that he's really gone. It is a tremendous loss to the dance community and it will be difficult to attend an event that he would have been at and not see him there. I haven't danced with Scotty in awhile, since Sept. 08 but dancing will never be the same for me again. Sincerely, Lorie

Dawn and Cheryl,
Such a surprise to hear the news. I'm wondering how many people realize that it was Walt who magically kept the music flowing at our recitals for so many years.
He made our Tri-County Twirlette van totally musical for all events and parades! Yes, everyone saw and heard us coming AND going!
Walt was always there with a solution to any problem or crazy idea that I came up with!
Jim also loved talking about cars with Walt and scrounging up a part for one of his restored vehicles whenever possible.
Those were the good years with you all...great memories and great times together.
You're in my thoughts.
Take care. Love,Kay

Cheryl and Dawn, Condolence's to you and Walter's friends. As Bill said we always looked up to Buddy. Even though I was much younger and annoying he always let me hang out with him and Bill. It was like being at the Hogwart's school.

Walt and I were friends for 52 years. It seems like only yesterday we were riding the Hen-Glen to school at St Marys and Bishop Scully. We spent many happy times up at WCSS the Junior College of Albany and various movies and concerts. We had many things in common. His lifelong friendship will surely be missed.

There are so many great things I could say about your brother - He was one in a million and I am shocked to hear of his passing. I worked with him/for him at GE and he was one of my closest friends - my x-husband and I flew in the plane with him several times - I trusted Walt with my life, as you can see. I loved him dearly and will never forget him. He always made me smile. My prayers are with you girls - God Bless You Always.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Walter's passing. We were very close in our pre-teen years as next door neighbors, and he had a profound effect on me, thanks to his willingness to experiment and try the impossible especially with fireworks and electronics! My children are inspired by stories of our adventures. My condolences.

Dear Dawn and Cheryl,
Please know that the girls and I have you both in our thoughts and prayers during this trying time. I know that this is unbearably sad, but to comfort you I hope you will always remember Buddy's zany sense of humor--- which both of you inherited as well! Somehow I don't think he's "resting in peace" right now--- I think he'd rather be laughing!!!!
Love,
Allison
