Although we never met in person,
Olemama8 on Yahoo Messenger and I were online friends. We shared a special bond for over a decade I believe. She was always concerned about my well being and that of my special needs daughter. Here it is 2:45am and I'm really missing Marion. So often we'd be unable to sleep and we'd chat online until we were ready to go back to sleep. In spite of her being in NY and my being in WI, we managed to really feel close to each other. Overnights won't be the same if I can't pull Marion away from her game.

I just wanted to send my love and best wishes to all the friends and family. I never did get to play that one wildcats pinochle game and I will regret that. It was always a pleasure to chat online the few short times we did, but please know that such a special lady touched so many people all over the world. I hope the next few days go so smoothly and know that once in heaven life is so much more peaceful. God bless you alll ... Katie xxx

Loretta & family,
There comes a time in this world when God calls all his children to come home to be with him. On this sad day, we have to remember the joyous life that your "Mom & grandmother" lived.
Marion was a good person who thought the world of all her family! She was so proud of all of you!
Many a times I would visit, always with a good cup of coffee, talking about this and that. The
many times we shared on our camping "Trips" will be cherished forever.
While in Heaven, Marion, may you be at peace, and I know you will always be watching down over your family.
You will be sadly missed, and I love you!

Jean we all love you and the team wildcats will always be thinking about you. We never did get to play that one last game you wanted to. I will never forget the laughs we had over the phone and on line. You talked so highly of all of you kids and grandkids and your great grandkids, but that is what grandmothers are for. I always remember telling you, YOU MUST GO NOW JEAN AND GET SOME REST SO WE CAN PLAY AGAIN TOMORROW, AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THAT TOMORROW. I love you Jean and may you REST IN PEACE. You had the best life anyone could want. You are now my angel looking over my shoulder as you have done in the past. TAKE CARE JEAN. LOVE YA.

Though this sad news brought tears to my eyes instantly, it also brings me peace for Marion and her wonderful family. Marion was like a beautiful Rose you find growing in the garden-you know- the one that just always looks sturdy-there for you to count on--that dyehard-that makes you realize that it is not the effort that makes such precious gifts- as much as it is the faith we all hunger for-that miracle of love-friendship that seems to be there all the time-even when you forget to water it. From the day I met Marion I felt happy to know her and often wished I'd known that kind of person all my life-rather than for this short time. May you all feel comfort in knowing she is with God now-no longer suffering the aches and pains of this world. Loved her, Will miss her friendship dearly, and welcome any of her family to call or e-mail me if they need anything or wish to talk to someone who also felt your loss today.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Marion's family. I had the pleasure of knowing her for about 10 yrs. In that time I had never met such a woman with such faith, compassion, dignity, and a love for her family.
No matter what life threw at her, she accepted it without complaint. If I could live up to 1/2 the lady she was then I feel I have accomplished something. I hope her children & grandchildren find comfort that she is in a better place and comfort each other through your grief. She loved you all more than words can say and she expressed that to me often. I will miss our little chats.
