We were sad to hear about Merle. We were looking forward to meeting her at Shawn and Yaniras. I found this by The Dog whisperer.
There's no doubt in my mind that dogs have emotions. They feel joy after a job well done. They feel sad when a pack member passes away. And they feel love for their family members – their pack. Their emotions are pure and honest. Your dog isn't lying to you when he communicates that he loves you. Cliff & Rosa

To Greg and family: There are people we know for only a short time in our lives, but who make a lasting impression on us. Merle was one of those people. Her happy, upbeat personality and kindness to others touched all who knew her. We consider ourselves very lucky to have known her as our neighbor the past 3 years. She will be missed, but her memory will always be with us. Know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

There are memories that only belong to those who shared their lives for so long. There are memories of family Christmas get togethers; Nobel's dance recitals and a show at the Rialto Theater; visits to Uncle Dell's camp; and the visits and stays when I passed through Amsterdam. The phone would ring and she would be just checking on me. She was not only my cousin but my friend when needed. She will be trully loved and missed. Sorry, I just can't get to the funeral. My heart will be there. I love you Merle.

Dear Greg,Shawn,Gregory, You are in our prayers for the loss of one of my best friends,Merle. She always looked at the best side of everything with a little laughter on the side. She cherished her family and friends always, never said a bad word of anyone, and always there for someone in need. We were always going to get together, never seemed to get the time. This has taught me a lesson, make the time for friends, we never know when God will call for us. Live for today, love today, for tomarrow you may have joined the angels. Greg, your faith will get you through this loss, God bless you and your family, your boys, Margaret, Wilma, your brothers, sisters. I wish I wasn't so far away and could be with you. to merle's family,
merle and I were close friends when we were teenagers on Guy Park Ave back in the sixties. over the years we saw each other and caught up on each other lives. we always tried to get together, but we never got the chance which I regret. I know she had some health problems years ago, but no matter what life dealt her, she always had a smile and a giggle for everyone, and the most incredible blue eyes. I will miss her and keep her in my thoughts and prayers always..
