Obituary of Miss Marion L. Meola

Miss Marion L. Meola, 83, of Amsterdam, passed away Thursday evening at the EL Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam, NY on August 29, 1933 the daughter of the late John and Margaret Tancredi Meola Sr. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and attended Amsterdam schools. Marion worked for a time at Electro-Metrics in Amsterdam. She was communicant of the former St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and St. Mary's Parish in Amsterdam. Survivors include her two brothers, Anthony J. (Linda) Meola of Amsterdam and Francis (Joan) Meola of Arizona. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was predeceased by her brother, John Meola who passed in 2003. Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Amsterdam. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
