I remember Kay's big smile, laugh and great sense of humor. whenever I saw Kay, we would laugh at how busy her social calendar was. We used to gather at a mutual friend's house for dinner and cards. She was always fun to be around.

Dear Susan and Michael,
I'm guessing this note will be sent to you. I last saw Kay at your Mom's calling hours. I wish I had known she was at the Wells House. She wasn't at that time and she looked just like always. She never aged, or so it seemed! It was almost as if she were invincible.
Kay was such a huge part of our lives when my brother and I were growing up in Gloversville. WE both have so many fond memories.
Your Aunt Kay was fun and kind and wonderful to our family. She was part of our family. I know you will miss her laugh - she was always laughing and so good-natured. I guess I always thought she would be there - it's hard to accept that she isn't. My best to you.

I knew who Kay Johnson was in High School, but never came to really know her until we started working on the Annual Broadalbin High School Alumni Reunions together. After that we became very close friends and enjoyed going to organ concerts and out to lunch many times. I will miss Kay so very much.

I will always remember Kay as a great classmate '42, and very good friend. I particularly enjoyed visiting with her at the BHS annual reunion banquets where she displayed her warm and cheerful personality. Peace be with you, Kay.

Many gatherings at the Goodemote home included "Gender" as a most welcome and entertaining guest. She would sit with her legs up under her in the chair like a teenager. Spry, witty, eyes twinkling; she was so upbeat and young-at-heart. We were among those lucky enough to share in her life and will miss her. Heaven has a new dancer!

Kay was a sweet lady and a good friend to my late mom, Pearl Canfield. The recovery she made from her stroke in 2001 serves as an inspiration of spirit.
