Obituary of Jane MacVean Tourville

Jane MacVean Tourville, 58, of Community Road, a former resident of Fulton and Montgomery Counties, died peacefully Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Ellis Hospital following a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born May 30, 1951 a daughter of the late H. Ross and Ruth Dickens MacVean.
Jane was a life resident of the area and was a 1969 graduate of Gloversville High School. She then obtained her Associates Degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She worked in administration at Gordon Finishing before working as a medical records processor at Conifer Park in Glenville.
Jane had an artistic side and enjoyed drawing and painting and also had a talent for decorating. With a passion for motorcycles she enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson whenever she had the chance. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Her loving family includes her daughter Summer Capodiferro and husband Emilio of Waterford, CT, her sister Laurie Dyer of Schenectady, and her grandchildren Francesca and Tatum Capodiferro of Waterford, CT. Several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her sister, Judy MacVean and her brother, Mark Ross MacVean.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, 37 S. Market St., Johnstown, NY with the Rev. Dr. Earl S. Johnson, Jr., officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to services on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00PM at the Church.
