Obituary of Allan Overbaugh

Mr. Allan Overbaugh, 71, of Amsterdam, passed away, April 8, 2017 at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Gloversville. He was born November 17, 1945 in Amsterdam, the son of the late Daniel and Margaret Kendle Overbaugh. He was a lifelong resident and attended Amsterdam schools. Allan served in the US Navy from 1965 to 1968 during the Vietnam War. He later became the owner and operator of Dan's Bicycle Shop in Amsterdam for many years. He is survived by his sons, Benjamin Overbaugh and Daniel Overbaugh of Amsterdam, NY. One brother, Edward Overbaugh. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Graveside services will be held on Friday May 5, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Chuctanunda Cemetery, State Hwy 30 South, Amsterdam, NY with full military honors. There are no calling hours.
