Obituary of Dorothy Quattrocchi

Dorothy Quattrocchi, 92, formerly of Chapel Place, passed away peacefully Thursday morning at St. Mary's Hospital with her daughter and sister by her side. Born in Amsterdam on January 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Filomena Yevoli Pastore . She was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School class of 1935. Dorothy was a parishioner of the former St. Michael The Archangel Church currently Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church. She was a member of St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary and served as a hospital volunteer. Dorothy was a member of the St. Michael's Seniors, St. John's Seniors the Amvets Auxiliary and the Ladies Of Charity. She loved to sew, was an avid golfer and ceramic maker, traveling, as well as her charitable work in this area. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alexander Quattrocchi on November 11, 1990. She also lost her sisters; Mary Rapello and Emma Lange, and brothers Benjamin and Louis Pastore. She is survived by daughters; Karen O'Brien and her husband Paul of Saratoga Springs, and Barbara Morrell of Long Island; sister; Marge Nye and her husband John of Amsterdam; brother; Ralph Pastore and his wife Emma of California; grandchildren; Courtney, Lara, Matthew and Benjamin; nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Services are Monday at 10:15 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass Of Christian Burial at 11:15 am at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church, Fr. Pascal Iannotti officiating. Interment is in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, or Mount Carmel Memorial Fund, both in care of the funeral home office.
