Dear Emmett and family,
I was very sorry to hear of yor father's passing. I have a fond memory of him when we both lived on West 12th Ave... one day I was walking down the street with my wagon and your dad saw that it need some repairs so he got out his hammer and took care of that! I will always remember that simple act of kindness.
May you all find strength in each other at this time.

Dear Gloria,
Our sincerest condolescences. If only there were more Emmetts in the world it would be a much better place. No one could light up a room like Emmett with his sweet smile and contagious laughter. And how about those breakfasts for 4 that could've fed 24.
Will much love and affection,

I had the privilege of meeting Emmett when my mother was a resident at the nursing home. He always had a "hello" and a smile everytime I saw him. I shared with him that I graduated with his son, Emmett. He spoke highly of all of his family with much love and pride. I am sure everyone at the nursing home will miss him. My sincere condolences to all his family.

Emmett and family, we are sorry to see the passing of your dad, he was a great man. I had the pleasure of doing business with Davis Cash Register and no matter what problem I had even after six years or so with the machine I purchased from him he came by and fixed it. After I asked how much I owed him and he would not take any money for his time, he will be missed by all who knew him. May god bless you and your families during this difficult time.

Dear Jeff & family,
I just return yesterday from visiting my mom at the infirmary. I think we may have been face to face as I left the facility on Mon or Tues. My sincere symphathies are with you for your loss. Emmett & my mom were often in the dining room together and I would always stop and say hello to him as I came in or left. I will miss his smile as I continue to come home to visit my mom. Take care. Hello to Mary for me and maybe we will see one another this summer as we celebrate our 40th class reunion.
