Wally grew up in Ocean City, Somers Point and Collingswood, NJ. As an avid reader, along with his brilliant mind, he was Valedictorian and a self-taught, educated man. He obtained his Professional Engineer?s License and worked as an Industrial Electronics Engineer. Wally was employed with Philco, GE, RCA, Bolta, and retired after 21 years with Coleco in Amsterdam. Career highlights included a stint in Africa in 1942 installing RCA?s radio equipment for launching Congo?s first international broadcast. He often had his camera in hand capturing wonderful family memories. Wally enjoyed driving his 3-wheeled Messerschmidt, sailing, and in later years, bowling. His delight was his family and knowing the Lord. He was an active member of Perth Bible Church for over 40 years. The last few years he memorized Scriptures, including John Chapter One. There was nothing he could not fix! He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical, including building the family?s first TV!
We will miss his humor, wisdom, servant heart, caring spirit and zest for living.
