Obituary of LouAnn Warren
LouAnn Warren, 54, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 27, 2010 with her loving family at her side.
She was born June 30, 1954 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late David and Lillian Levine Harrington.
She was most recently employed as a counselor at the Fulton County Friendship House.
LouAnn was a caretaker all of her life and worked in geriatrics and private duty care for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and being on the computer- playing games and networking and taking on line courses as well. She was a selfless, patient and nurturing woman; a loving caring wife, mother and grandmother and a devoted friend. LuAnn will be very sadly missed.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Ronald, of Gloversville; a son, Mick Warren-Harrington of Gloversville; two daughters: Kristy Brockhum John and Sarah Warren, both of Gloversville; two grandchildren: Luke and Allison; a brother, John Harrington Linda of AZ; a sister, Joan Duda Bill of East Greenbush and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Harrington and a sister, Becky Harrington.
A memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, March 31 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the North Main Street United Methodist Church, 316 North Main Street, Gloversville; where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chris Hamm presiding. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. Donations may be made in LouAnn's name to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078 or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd. Loudonville, NY 12211.
