Obituary of Helen M. Wilson

Mrs. Helen M. Wilson, 98 years old of Hickory Ridge Drive, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her home. She was born August 20, 1911, in Broadalbin, New York a daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Hickock Milroy. Mrs. Wilson was a life resident of the area and was a graduate of Gloversville High School. She married Donald E. Wilson Sr., August 2, 1930. Following nearly 64 years of marriage, he predeceased her on February 19, 1994. Her loving family includes her son Donald E. Wilson and his wife Bev of Amsterdam, her sister Betty Trevett of Saratoga Springs, her grandchildren Claire Holt and husband Wally, Craig Wilson, and Clara Wilson and her husband Chris Potts, and her great-grandsons Daniel and Derek Holt. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Vale Cemetery Crematorium, State Street in Schenectady. Contributions in Mrs. Wilson's memory may be made to Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Manny's Corners Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
