Obituary of Ellen E. Ellis

Ellen E. Ellis, age 87, of Gloversville passed away on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility in Gloversville. She was born in Charleston, NY on January 13, 1923 the daughter of the late Freeman and Martha Rose. Ellen was educated in the Gloversville Enlarged School District. On January 1, 1941 Ellen married Philo W. Ellis. They shared 61 years united in marriage until his passing on June 12, 2002. Ellen is survived by a son: Robert Ellis of Martinez, CA as well as a granddaughter: Leslie Cizewski also of Martinez, CA. Two great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her husband, Ellen was preceded in death by two brothers: Jesse Rose and Charles Rose. There will be no calling hours or services.
