Obituary of Anthony T. Roantes

Mr. Anthony T. Roantes, 53, of Caroga Lake, passed away Saturday at his residence following a long illness. Mr. Roantes was born November 25, 1956 in Hempstead, N.Y. He was the son of the late Anthony N. and Ruth J. Murray Roantes. He was a graduate of Uniondale High School. A resident of Caroga Lake for twenty- five years, he was a well known area carpenter. A devote Giants fan, he also enjoyed NASCAR. Anthony will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. Survivors include his sisters; Vivienne Mcloughlin of Caroga Lake, Jeanine Arrunategui of Johnstown and Sharon Shreve of Florida. He is also survived by three brothers; William P. Roantes III of Nelliston, N.Y., Wayne Roantes of Maryland and Scott Brownlee of N. Carolina as well as nieces and nephews. Mr. Roantes was pre-deceased by a brother John Roantes.
