Obituary of Louise O. Clark

Mrs. Louise O. Clark, age 79, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam. She was born on October 31, 1930 in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late Adelbert and Lula Blair Olyer. She attended a one-room school house in Perth and Perth Central School. Her family moved to Amsterdam where she attended Wilbur Lynch High School. She was a nurse's aide at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital for 17 years. Louise married James Clark of Midline Road in 1947. They moved to Broadalbin in 1980. She was an E.M.T. for Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance Corps until she moved out of the district in 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her step-mother, Gertrude Boyle Olyer; five step-brothers and three step-sisters. She is survived by her close friends Sallie and Edward. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St; Broadalbin, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. R. W.
