To everyone in the family that may remember me from the 70's. I am very sorry to hear of Aunt Hope's passing. She was a great lady and I loved visiting with her and Uncle Ted and all the children. I am the grand daughter of Violet Pettit Becker Johnston. All my thought and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Dear grandma,
Even though your death was not unexpected, I still felt a wave of disbelief. I still thought that maybe today Ricky and I would pack up the little one and head over to play some cards. It was always nice to have all my pennies taken at a blink of an eye; Although I am sad that we could not I am glad that I do not have to see you in anymore pain. You did try to play it off like you weren't but we all could see that you were. You are the strongest person that I knowother then you mom. We love you and will miss you more than you know!
