Obituary of Christine Robertson

Christine Robertson, 59, of Johnstown, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Albany Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1950 in Syracuse, the daughter of James and Anna Spagnole Casey. Christine worked as a waitress at Traver's Restaurant. She was a sweet, loving, fun lady who liked to have a good time. She was an excellent caretaker who always put everybody else ahead of herself. She will be sadly missed. Christine is survived by a son, Gary C. Jackson of Gloversville; two daughters: Tina Morrow of Johnstown and Valerie Jackson of Gloversville, five grandchildren; her father, James Casey of Binghamton; a brother, Floyd VanHooser of Syracuse; two sisters: Phyllis Gatti Sergio of Rochester and Janet Leffler James of Altamont Springs, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Christine was predeceased by her mother, Anna Casey. In keeping with Christine's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin, 12025.
