Obituary of Brian L. Morrison

Brian L. Morrison, age 42, of Johnstown passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 7, 2010. He was born on May 31, 1968 in Gloversville, NY the son of Thelma Burgess Morrison and the late James Morrison. Brian was a graduated with the class of 1986 at Gloversville High School. He was employed with the Gloversville Enlarged School District as a buildings and grounds employee. On August 18, 1990, Brian married Rebecca L. Campana Morrison. They have shared over 19 years united in marriage. Brian was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors. He was also very active as a coach in the Tri-County Babe Ruth Baseball League. In addition to his wife of 19 years, Brian is survived by his three sons: Brian Morrison Jr., Zachary Morrison and Patrick Morrison all of Johnstown; his mother Thelma Morrison of Gloversville, two brothers; James F. Morrison Robin and Doug Morrison Brenda both of Gloversville and two sisters; Cathy Rubscha Thomas and Sharon Peters both of Johnstown. Additional survivors include: three nieces and three nephews. Friends and relatives are invited and may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday July 9, 2010 at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Hone; 51 Fremont Street; Gloversville. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday July 10, 2010 at Union Rural Cemetery, Mayfield with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
