Jeff--
I've only just found out that you've lost your mom and Nancy. You have my deepest sympathy, belated as it is.
Your mom was always so nice to me. I always enjoyed chatting with her when I'd see her on the porch as I drove down Locust Ave.
I often thought that I would run into you when I'm back in Amsterdam to visit my mom.
I wish the best for you.

Dear Cappy and family,
I just learned of your sweet mother's passing tonight. I am so very sorry for you all. My mother told me Casper was called up to play for the Detroit Tigers and I searched a little and found that your Mom had died. The first thing I thought of was how proud she was of all her children, and must have been for her grandchildren, too. I can see her face and smile like it was yesterday in the halls of Bishop Scully. All of us at school were blessed to have known your mother. I will say a prayer for her tonight and know she is happy with those whom she has joined in Heaven.
My sincere belated condolences,
Betty Sue

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom touched the lives of so many people; always in a positive way. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. She was always smiling and always so proud of her kids and her grandchildren. Although I didn't see her much, my mom and sister Donna would keep me updated. When I did get to Amsterdam and got a chance to see her, I always enjoyed a visit with her. She would always comment on the Christmas photo card I would send her and how big my boys were getting.
"Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal. Love leaves a memory that no one can steal". May the love of your mom and the wonderful memories you have of her bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom. She was always an oasis of calm in that hectic Scully office, and always made your concern seem like the most important thing in the universe until you got what you needed. Years after I graduated I delivered the mail to the house and she said "I'd recognize that smile anywhere." I told her that's what I was going to say. A wonderful lady who will really be missed.
