Obituary of Lucretia Thomas

Lucretia "Ann" Thomas, 66, passed away Monday, July 26 following a long illness. She was born July 4, 1944 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Dewitt and Cecilia Vecera VanDyke. Ann loved word seek puzzles, collecting magnets, Elvis movies, cooking and Coca Cola memorabilia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Jim Thomas and six siblings. Ann is survived by a sister, Cecelia LeBeouf of TX; nieces Justina VanDyke of Gloversville and Liz Bernhardt of NV; two sisters-in-law: Helen TenEyck of FL and Pauline VanDyke of Gloversville, as well as several other nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
