Obituary of Albert E. Gordon

Albert E. Gordon, 78, of Gloversville passed away on Friday August 6, 2010 at home. He was born in Gloversville, NY on April 3, 1932 the son of the late Edward and Mildred Rowback Gordon. On December 5, 1953 Albert married the former Elsie Prahm. They shared 47 years united in marriage until her passing on February 21, 2000. Albert is survived by a brother, Harold Gordon Ellen, 5 sisters, Eleanor Countryman, Audrey Godes, Janice VandeWalker, Gloria Pazzaglia and Terry VanDyke Kenny. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gordon and two sisters, Beatrice Melucci and Joyce Mulhall. There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady. Interment will be at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown at the convenience of the family.
