It would be hard to pick just one memory. Eddie was as kind as they come... And anytime he asked how I was or what was new he always came across as genuinely interested which is very rare to me. it would always brighten up my shopping trips when I ran into Eddie and his mom at the store shopping and I will miss that greatly. Sally and Family I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss of Eddie. Sally, my heart go's out to you. I'm so sorry for your loss. The world has lost a good soul. I met Eddie when I came to amst, as a young teen myself from Manhatten, We became close friends. I spent many of days in his home with his parents.I He would come and get me when mama would make rice n beans.and we'd sit around and laugh with his mom. I just seen him last week.Why! Why! Eddie was such a bright light in life. That's all I can think of when I picture him.
I remember when I was younger, how excited I would get if I knew he was going to come by. As an adult, he could still bring out that feeling of excitement in me with a big hug and an, "Oh, my God, Peachy, how are you doing?!"
I wish my girls could have had the chance to meet him.

He loved u very much and was super proud of the man u became. He told me about the last time he saw u. It brought tears to his eyes as he told us about the encounter. He couldn't believe u were covered in tattoos... He was WOW... my boy has tons of tats... Looks like a bad ass... I love it. He said that calling him dad made his life and gave him hope. He wasnt perfect and he never tried to be but he did say u were his greatest accomplishment. He was so proud of u Scotty and he loved very, very much!

I have some very fond memories of my Tio Eddie, it was truly a gift to know him... My Uncle would always extend his hands as soon as he saw me, and would say "Hey Baby, give your uncle Eddie a hug." As a child I remember the trips to the beach, the exciting Christmas' and how could I forget that great humor... I love u so much, the world is at a loss...

I've known Eddie for over 27 yrs as a little boy growing up with his son. He would never let me walk home. Even when I olny lives a couple blocks down the street. Lol The very last time I saw him was 2 yrs ago and it was at a store. He said " You ok Frankie?) I said besides being broke. I'm good.
And reached into his pocket and gave me what he had. This was a great man with a huge,huge Heart. I love u and I will miss u till we meet again.

I loved my Tio Eddie very much. He always greeted me with a smile and a huge hug. He was an amazing and kind soul. He wasn't perfect and never tried to be. He always loved me and accepted me for me. The last time I saw him was 2 months ago at Mamas funeral. He told me "You know what Baby, I am so proud of the woman you've become, don't ever change" I love u Tio and I'll miss u terribly.

Eddie was a great man and an awesome cousin. I first met him when I was about 10 years old or so.
From the first moment I met him until just a couple of years ago every time he saw me would have the biggest smile and give me the biggest hug. He always had a laugh or a smile for me. Whenever I was around him I always felt truly loved.
I will miss him tremendously.
