Obituary of Marie E. Cordes Hackett

Mrs. Marie E. Cordes Hackett, of Scotia, NY, died on Sunday April 30, 2017 at home. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Marie Behrmann Cordes, a sister, Clara L. Montenaro of Broadalbin, NY and her brother, John H. Cordes of St. Charles, MO. Survivors include her beloved sister-in-law, June Cordes of St. Charles, MO, dear nephew and niece, Bobby and Judy Montenaro of Amsterdam, NY, nieces, Kelli, Valerie, Lesli and Diane, nephew David, brother-in-law, Robert D. Montenaro and dear friends, Karen and Jim Fuller. There will be no calling hours and services will be private. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marie's memory to the Animal Protective Agency, 53 Maple Ave, Schenectady, NY 12302.
