Obituary of Lula Sprung

Lula Sprung, age 84, of Gloversville passed away on Thursday September 2, 2010 at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility. Lula was born in Gloversville, NY on June 9, 1926 the daughter of the late Albert and Edna Reynolds Townsend. She is survived by a son: Garry Sprung Lucy of Gloversville, three daughters: Yvonne Faboskay Herb of Amsterdam, JoAnn Safady Imad of Gloversville, Barbara Sweet Richard of Gloversville, 8 grandchildren: Sydney Sprung, Tonya Schlakat Alec, Sharleena Farley, Christopher Putman Kelley, Hannah Hansen Charles, Petra Stoller Todd, Matthew Sweet and Danielle Sowle Brandon. Additional survivors include 10 great grandchildren: Brady, Keegan, Quinn, Sullavan "Sal", Nicholas, Ivan, Abigail, Ariel, Meila Ann, Brianna and a sister, Nina Nelson. In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Sprung, as well as 8 brothers and sisters. There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home; 51 Fremont Street; Gloversville.
